About Company
Service Provider Association (SPA) was founded in 2020, during the Covid pandemic, with the importance of cleaning for health as a priority.
SPA mission is to provide the best commercial cleaning services in Iowa, performed by well-trained service providers. We will achieve this mission by maintaining high criteria to accept new members, and by making sure our members are happy and profitable business owners.
The founder of SPA worked for more than 8 years for a national commercial cleaning company, running the Iowa office. He acquired extensive experience about the commercial cleaning business, but was not happy about how these big cleaning companies take advantage of the labor force. He decided that it was the moment to quit his corporate management role to start an Iowa organization that will help professional cleaners become independent business owners and improve their financial status, doing what they do best; taking good care of their clients buildings.
The members of SPA receive the help they need to make the jump from employee to business owners, free of charge.
SPA provides its members the best training and official certifications on cleaning and disinfecting practices. They also receive accounting services, administration services, taxes and insurance assistance, quality control systems and sales support. Everything that our members need to become successful business owners and provide the best cleaning services to our clients in the state of Iowa.
SPA requires its members a high level of quality service in order to maintain their status of member. SPA monitors client satisfaction regularly to make sure these standards are consistent.
Only experienced professionals in the industry are considered to become members of SPA and the application needs to be endorsed by a current member. References of happy businesses serviced by the applicant are mandatory in order to verify extensive experience on the industry.
